Okay, so you see next to the box you are typing in? (On the right) There are some little emoticons, Some of which include Love, Joy, Wow, Anger Ect ?

And, below that, it says 'emoticons' Click on that. It'll give you a list of emoticons that can be used.

For example- : heart : <-- without spaces Would be :heart:
: hug : Without spaces would be :hug: ^^
Sometimes, you don't need to put The ' : ' Like when you do a sad face ' : ) ' No space, it'll turn out like :)
